| About Disaster Relief and Volunteering
Those of us who have volunteered for a long time in local or international disaster relief teams understand the requirements that must be fulfilled to comply with the standards of the agency. The Department of Homeland Security has established a standardized training to facilitate communication and implementation of a plan in response to any disaster at the local or international level. It is under the label ICS.
PHPglobal is providing the links to such training for volunteers and members of our team. It is not a requirement for all volunteers but a recommendation for medical and other health care team.
You can read about ICS and their training program by going to their link.

Volunteer
Last year our volunteers donated nearly 300 hours of their time at various locations around the world. They came from churches, civic groups, and corporations-many were individuals who simply felt a strong calling to help in any way they could. Others, such as groups, and organizations donated money, food, or life skills expertise (and in many cases, all three!) to help Partners in Health Protection meet the needs of our less fortunate women and children.
Locations included: Coimbatore, India; Ecuador; Haiti; Ukraine; Uganda; Russia and the United States.
We always need more volunteers to assist with our small tasks. If you or someone you know is seeking a volunteer engagement, do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.
