Youth Place is an extended vision of Partners in Health Protection, Inc. (PHP). It consists of an after-school program providing an opportunity for every student to participate in a variety of activities at least three times per week.
When appropriately funded this after school program will service approximately 600 students of Middle school and High school located in South and Central Florida and surrounding areas.
Participation in Youth Place benefits the students by encouraging them to develop time priorities, behavioral management skills, cultural awareness and the avoidance of destructive behavior. These skills will be a few of the rewards gained by participants in Youth Place programs. The ultimate goal is to develop health, resilient, successful learners by integrating academics, sports, and cultural development under one program umbrella. PHPglobal believes that young adolescents can be taught to act as the primary prevention agents for diminishing the risks factors that will be experienced by their future generation.
